New York City students studying abroad in the United States can get a free job as an intern at an international school in the country, the university said Wednesday.
The program is available to first-time students in the first semester of the year.
Yale’s Global Work Program, which is managed by the university, offers opportunities for students to work in various academic settings and abroad.
The Global Work program is open to international students, who pay a $2,000 fee for a year of full-time work and then pay $1,000 a month in exchange for a $50 stipend.
Yale said the program is designed to prepare students for career opportunities in the U.S.
